Tofu with sambal

Ingredients

  • 400gr tofu

  • 4 Tbsp cornstarch

  • Salt and pepper

  • Garlic powder

  • Sambal Brandal (vegan)

For 4 servings

Preparation:

  • Cut the tofu in cubes
  •  Mix the tofu with the cornstarch, a pinch of salt (do not put too much as the sambal is also salted), the garlic powder and pepper
  • Heat canola oil in a pan on medium high heat
  • Cook the tofu cubes until golden
  • Put the tofu in a serving dish and mix with the sambal
